I have a client who is filing separately from her parents but was on their marketplace insurance for 2021. However she earned enough and would need to file her own tax return. I am getting an error when transmitting the return saying I need to fill out a statement for 1095A but I'm not able to figure out how to enter just her portion.

Enter the 1095A figures, then scroll down down down the 1095A to the allocation portion.

Needing to file her own tax return and whether or not she qualifies as a dependent are two completely different things. DOES she qualify as a dependent?
