1095 A but declined employer coverage

Client has 1095 A reporting ACA information (recipient is the client's spouse), but client also has 1095 C from employer (a major bank) showing code 1E in box 14 and 2F in box 16.  Return generates a credit since no advance premium payments were made.  I do not think you can turn down minimum essential coverage from an employer and qualify for the premium credit.  Also, the client is reimbursed by the spouse's former employer for the premiums they pay.  The spouse is retired.

I do not see anywhere in Proseries to show this and make the credit zero.

Any thoughts would be appreciated!

If the employer insurance was "affordable" and had "minimum value", then the SLCSP (column B of the 1095-A) should be $0.  The program will probably give you an error, so you may need to enter $0.01.
