I just had to open the software to try to figure out what you meant by "PBR" because I was wondering why the software had a column for "Pabst Blue Ribbon". 😂

The term "pending" refers to the the federal return has not been accepted by the I.R.S.
Now the term "pending irs/state" refers to the fact that the I.R.S.has at this point accepted the return,and you can proceed to the calender for the next approx. date of deposit for your client.
