Feature Enhancement Request for ProConnect Tax Online

I trust this email finds you well. I am writing as a dedicated user of ProConnect Tax Online, and I appreciate the efficiency it brings to tax preparation.

I have been impressed by the client billing features in similar software like Lacerte and believe that incorporating similar functionalities into ProConnect Tax Online would significantly enhance the user experience. Here are specific enhancements I would like to suggest:

1. Client Billing Features:

   • Similar to Lacerte, the ability to generate client invoices directly from the tax forms prepared would be a valuable addition. This feature could streamline the billing process, saving time for tax professionals.

2. Integration with Tax Data:

   • It would be beneficial if ProConnect Tax Online could automatically pull data directly from the tax forms prepared for each client. This automation would reduce the likelihood of errors in the invoicing process and improve overall accuracy.

3. Customizable Invoices:

   • Providing options to customize the appearance and content of client invoices would be advantageous. This feature would allow tax professionals to include specific details about the services rendered, fees, and any other relevant information tailored to their practice.

4. Billing Based on Complexity:

   • Flexibility in billing based on the complexity of the tax return, similar to what Lacerte offers, would be a great asset. This would allow tax practices to implement different billing structures to accommodate various pricing models.

Thanks for the enhancement for the ability to generate client invoices directly from the tax forms, pull the tax forms prepared for each client, customize the appearance and content of client invoices, implement different billing structures to accommodate various pricing models (like Lacerte client billing features). We are changing the status to "Open for voting".
