Audit Log

It would be helpful to be able to see which user did what on the tax return. QBO has very detailed Audit Log to investigate changes made. It would be ideal to know who update bank information in the clients file and who e-filed the return if multiple users have access to e-file. This would help to keep employees accountable.

Thanks for the idea to see what user did what on the tax return (like QBO Audit log). We are changing the status to "Open for voting" since it has been around for over 30 days and no longer considered "New".

I think is great in a multi-employee office.  I also think that this could be used to see how much time the person spent in the return, similar to QBD and QBO.   I have used the audit log for that purpose also to see when the was a sign in, what was done and when they signed out.

Could be used for billing purposes on time.
