1) When the form is finalized by the IRS

and/or

2) When Intuit gets the form finalized.

It is final with IRS now.  ProSeries says it will be final on January 22.  Not sure if ProConnect follows the same schedule.

Thanks, Bob.

I am not going to go check for everyone that's asking IF the IRS has finalized a specific form.  If one is capable of preparing the form, one *should* be able to do that him/herself.

Actually those folks *should* be able to verify the schedule of Lacerte/ProSeries/PTO all by him/herself too.

So I think moving forward,  I may just be done with answering these types of questions 😂

@abctax55

I wouldn't have checked if I hadn't been working on my own at the time.  The management at Intuit (I always picture them going to H&R Block to have their returns done) have never understood that what they should push out the door first, are the forms that in many cases can be completed when the final entry is made in the accounting software, December 31.

So I read the question as more of a lament, and I understood its source.

Bob, what you say is way too logical for Intuit to comprehend 😊

And funny...
