What is the best way to do 2022 individual tax projections in ProConnect?

What you'd do would depend on the complexity of your projections.

For the most rudimentary, use the 2022 ES-tax worksheets under Payments, Penalties & Extension > 2022 Estimated Tax (1040-ES) and enter the changes from 2021 on the Federal Worksheet and/or State Adjustments tab.

For projections that require a slightly higher level of fineness (but only by just a little and not too much), ProConnect Tax has a relatively crude tax planner.  You can access that via the Clients dashboard, then you click on the View clients and returns button, and then click on the Tax planner tab.  Since the planner for the following year has always been released after the tax season, won't be able to prepare any 2022 tax projections with that until later in H1.  There are too many limitations to make that a fully funtional product.  IMHO, it's just a work-in-progress beta although Intuit would have you believe otherwise.  But, hey, you can't complain too much about it because it's free (or, rather, it's included in the fees you pay for the return).

For a full-fledged functional product, @George4Tacks would recommend taxtools.  You may want to check that out if you need something more sophisticated.
