Hi, my org qualifies for 990EZ but proconnect is using 990.  How do I switch to 990EZ?

Sometimes Weebles do fall down. There must be some input you made to make it 990. The software determines if 990EZ requirements are met. If not they fall down file 990.

On Pro Series professional you can choose which form to use on the exempt organization information worksheet. Check to see if that is there on your proconnect software.

Remember there is both an income and an asset test.

I don't use ProConnect but I'm curious:

If I qualify to file 990-EZ, but want to file 990 (because the place that gave me grant money requires it, for example), can I prepare a 990? Or does the software force me to use 990-EZ?

Yes proconnect selects the 990ez based on revenue and assets
