1099R received for Alimony Payments made through Spouses Retirement Fund

If a spouse receives a 1099-R as her alimony would you enter it in alimony and other payments or as 1099-R. She did have a little tax deducted,  alimony It isn't taxable in MD trying to figure out how to make this flow and work correctly

It's not alimony.  It's  likely a QDRO - a split of retirement plan monies, due to the divorce.

And it does NOT go on the alimony/other income line

FYI MD follows the same rules for alimony as federal.
