To Developers:
Please correct bug this ongoing problem. Whenever a preparer needs to file an extension for a business return ie partnership LLC. The system does not allow for extension for California and automatically pay for the $800 LLC. The preparer instead must deselect CA for extension since CA issues an automatic extension and then they would have to manually go onto the FTB website to make payment. This is a severe oversight and poor software development issue that has never been resolved. In essence, everyone who needs to file in extension for a business return in California will be encountering this frustrating problem.
