I am getting the following critical error in ProConnect on an amended return. Form 1040-X: The Original Amount and Correct Amount for the following items cannot be negative for e-file purposes: Qualified Business Income Deduction, Taxable Income and Earned Income Credit.
The negative amount is on form 1040X, column A, line 5, and is automatically calculated by ProConnect. I tried overriding the amount on the General Info 1040X input screen (to match the originally filed 1040) but ProConnect is still calculating the negative amount. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
