What We Can Learn From Baseball

Have you **bleep** clock. Pitches can’t be more than 15 seconds apart (20, with a runner on base). For the next two weeks, apply this to your practice. If you have a W-2 or 1099 to enter, allow only 15 seconds. Maybe 20, if the client’s spouse is sitting there in the office also and asking you a different question from the one you are already trying to answer.

The bases are bigger too, so the distance between them is less. Expect a lot more stolen bases. If you have been scheduling appointments an hour apart, make it 55 minutes now. By late afternoon you can squeeze in an easier client who only needs half an hour.
