We finished our first season using Intuit Practice Management "Work" to monitor the steps in the tax return preparation life cycle. We chose the start date as January 1st and the Due Date of April 15th for every 1040. So, On January 1st it looks like we have 600 work assignments even though no one has dropped off their documents. Does anyone who uses Intuit Practice Management for their work have a better suggestion? We have not been able to use our To Do List all year because of this.
