Submitted by ContinuouslearnThe 2021 Lacerte Program excludes foreign dividend income on screen 12 of the 1040 if there is no foreign withholding. Entering -1 for "none" gives the correct foreign dividend income, but gives the incorrect foreign withholding as it subtracts a 1 from the foreign tax withholding and gives a critical diagnostic. Is there a way to correct the input to fix this?
