For those with dual monitor setups, do you recommend?

My firm is looking into adapting dual monitor setups to help aid in the input process as well as cut down on printing/paper costs. We are hoping that this transition would also aid in moving us into more of a paperless setup.

We want to know if the practicality and efficiency of working with dual monitors is worth the upgrade. Please share the pros and cons you have faces with more than one monitor.

My small firm has used double monitors for close to 25 years. I couldn't imagine having to work on just one. It is absolutely fantastic to have one monitor running with the prior year return while working with the current year on the second monitor. Makes it so easy to copy/paste on some data fields that do not roll forward. You can research on one monitor while the return is open on the other monitor. The potential is really limitless with that second or third monitor (I haven't gotten to three yet, but thinking about it). And since the cost of monitors has dropped significantly in the last few years, it makes using double monitors very economical to the budget and effective to the bottom line with the increased productivity. Go for it, you will not be disappointed!
