1. Lacerte "promotes" the ability to E-file amended returns. I have tried to E-file two amended returns and both were rejected and Lacerte had no explanation as to how to resolve the reject issue.
2. For some reason the Lacerte program doesn't properly split all community income between spouses in a community property state. I have "checked" all the boxes to indicate it is a community property state (CA) and all other boxes. Again, Lacerte doesn't seem to be able to provide any easy way to get the community income and expenses split properly.
In my opinion Lacerte is a fairly expensive produce and should be able to correct what seem like fairly simple issues.
