Why can't I e-file a 1040 if Line 11 of Form 8815 is negative? This seems like a strange reason to have to paper file a return.

This is ridiculous and was not a rejection for 2019 returns. I can't believe this is an IRS thing because just about everybody with this exclusion would have to file on paper.

I have overridden the MAGI amount on the 8815 to equal the amount on line 10, which makes line 11 equal to zero and still allows the full exclusion as it's supposed to be with a negative line 11. That did the trick.
