Where do you designate a SSB for QBI reporting purposes?

That depends on where you are doing the primary entries, generally in the Qualified Business Income Deduction section, such as Screen about 1/2 way down in Screen 16 for Schedule C.

In any module you can use Ctrl + F to start a search. Look for 199A
What you want is in Screen 27 >. Other Information > Section 199A > first check box
