How do you get the prior year amounts to appear on the Tax Summary form?

In your OPTIONS in the Tax Return tab, there is setting for 2-Year Comparison, make sure that is set to YES. The prior year data for the comparison comes over in the proforma (transfer) process from 2018.

If you did not proforma from last year, or want to adjust what is there go to Screen 48.

I cannot find OPTIONS in the Tax Return tab?

At the very top of Lacerte click SETTINGS, then select OPTIONS. When in Options, Click the tab at the top labeled TAX RETURN.  4th item in the list is 2-Year Comparison, set it to Yes.

If there was no prior year data rolled from 2018 for this return, you can access screen 48 and plug in the prior year summary numbers to get the 2-year comparison.
