Ugh! Ok, I restated the beginning capital accounts for California to get the Capital on the K1s on the CA basis per the new rules. I go to screen 39.1 and it shows the NEW Beginning capital amount. I then spread this total among my partners (as they had a transfer on the last day of 2020). Looks perfect. Happy, smiling, good tax day. THEN I go to the CA K1 and NO CHANGE is reflected on Schedule L?! HELP!!! Where else could this be coming from. Also the Cap Acct Recon for CA is not different either. Sigh.
