The LaCerte programmers have Medicare premiums on the input screens going to a form line that says "not eligible for Medicare" (Line 1 of the Ohio Unreimbursed Medical & Health Care Expenses Worksheet).
Why would someone pay Medicare premiums if they were not eligible for Medicare? This looks like lazy programming to me. I have to override this line on every client that is covered by Medicare and files an Ohio tax return.

I have been overriding it to but now I am getting an error message stating that OH doesnt accept overrides and the return will be rejected. I wish they would just fix this. What are you doing as a work around? I just got this error message tonight. I overrode it last week with no issues.
