At the moment, there are about 500 million machines running Win11 and over 1 billion still running Win10. Support for Win10 ends Oct of 2025 with only 1 out of 6 Win10 machines able to "legally" upgrade to Win11. In addition MS says they are going to offer a continued support payment service for Win10. I'm using a very powerful gaming machine for Lacerte that has all the bells and whistles to run Win11 and beyond except the right CPU which was produced right before the CPU's that qualify "legally" for the Win11 upgrade. Lacerte needs to please give us a heads up sometime soon as to if they will continue support for Win10 machines that are using the Win10 continued support option or if it is Win11 or nothing. 4 other machines in our office are in the same position.
