Is there a way to mask your PTIN on client copy of return?

NO. You could use whiteout or black sharpie, but not print option. 

They gonna find it out anyway https://www.irs.gov/tax-professionals/ptin-information-and-the-freedom-of-information-act  I am not in the public directory, but I am in this. It is all just part of the job. 

At least it not like when I started. There are 1,000s of tax returns out their with my SSN on it.
