Is it possible to change an entity from 1065 to 1120S after the return already has been filed for 2017?

In Lacerte? or with the IRS?  I'd say *no* to both.

BUT...  IF the F 1065 has already been accepted via efile, then that is what the IRS wants/and was expecting.

Are you trying to implement a late S-election?

I know.  We asked how to do it, didn't do it, and now we are asking how do undo what we did do.  Sometimes I get a case of bleeding eyes after a visit here.
