E-file error for Form 8960, line 4a

Another e-file error that hopefully someone can help with.

I have a client who has a Schedule C business.  The instructions for Form 8960 this year say that items from Schedule 1, line 3 (business income and loss) and from Schedule 1, line 5 (rental income, etc) should be entered here.  Then we subtract out active income on line 4b.  Lacerte did this all correctly per the instructions.  However, the e-file got rejected.  The resolution says that if line 4a is not equal to zero, then it must equal Schedule 1, line 5.  So the e-file error says I can't include Schedule 1, line 3 which is contrary to the instructions.

The instructions for 2021 just say to include items from Schedule 1, line 5 so the instructions have changed, but apparently the e-file has not kept up.  

Do I make them file by paper or wait for the e-file to get fixed?

I would wait since I do all I can to avoid paper filing.
