Disaster Relief Updated Filing Dates on Client Letter

Why not have a box to check for the Disaster Relief deadline dates to show up on the client letter.

Lacerte has a huge presence with CA tax preparers and this is affecting almost all of those CA tax Returns.

Having to create a custom letter for each client or another letter to default  to and then you will have to switch out of next year's Lacerte are not really feasible options.

A simple check the box to do what we need Lacerte to do on the client letter is realistic and could be implemented by Lacerte pretty seamlessly.

I agree with you.

"A simple check the box " is probably 10-50K of programmer time to Intuit. It's a matter of the bottom line for Intuit.

Keep complaining CA preparers!

And, if you are near programmers, keep your ear out for entrepreneurs who are looking for an opportunity to complete with Intuit's (poor) California tax software.

It will be (maybe?) more effective to keep all these comments/complaints in one thread:

Right on.   It seems to me that most CA tax practitioners don't even need to bother with the age old chore of getting extensions filed , or even tax paid, by March 15 and April 15. Is that correct?
