Ownership of Capital - Partnership Module
NEVER MIND - I FOUND THE MANUAL/AUTOMATIC SETTING IN FEDERAL TAX OPTIONS!
I'm getting diagnostic 40309 - Passthrough K-1: The California electronic filing specifications do not allow for the ending ownership of capital to be greater than 100%. Clicking the diagnostic takes me to Screen 8, Partner %. The ownership of capital input all add up to 100%, but on the K-1 the amounts are different.
On the bosses' computer, there is no diagnostic for this and the percentages on the K-1 match the inputs. I cannot for the life of me find a setting that fixes the amounts and diagnostic on mine.
