The following diagnostic is generating:
On final year returns, the report year must not be greater than one year after the accounting period end date. (ref. #2033607)
Solution:
Critical diagnostic that must be cleared to view/print TX forms. On Screen 43.431 Texas Franchise Tax>General>Report year [O] goes to TX Form 05-102. If they are not going to be filing that form they can just clear out that field. In the same section under Initial/Final Reports is where they would mark it as final and may have overridden the Accounting period beginning/ending dates.
