Which Preparer? Screen 1>Miscellaneous Info>Preparer To resolve the diagnostic for that Preparer: Settings>Options>Preparers>Double click on the Preparer then correct the New York Tax Preparer Registration Number in the NYTPRIN (New York only) field or if the preparer does not have an NYTPRIN clear this field and instead select the appropriate code from the Exclusion Code (New York ONLY) dropdown.
