The following diagnostic is generating: "TO COMPLETE NEW YORK FORM IT-2, BOX B AND BOX C MUST CONTAIN THE SAME INFORMATION THAT IS ON FEDERAL FORM W-2. VERIFY THAT THE EMPLOYER INFORMATION (SUCH AS NAME,ADDRESS AND EMPLOYER IDENTIFICATION NUMBER) IS CORRECTLY ENTERED IN SCREEN 10 (WAGES, SALARIES, TIPS) FOR EACH W-2." Foreign wages were entered in screen 31.2. Under employer information in scrn 31.2 "Foreign address" box was checked and foreign country name entered. NY form IT-2 pulls the information, but leaves "Country (if not United States)" field blank.
