Potential clients list with estimated tax savings.

mmts

To be able to offer a Tax Advisory plan to potential users, we need to be able to make a list quickly of all the clients with potential estimated tax savings. One should be able to save that list with the client contact information and estimated tax savings into an excel spreadsheet.

I saw some preview of it in the past, but it was very cumbersome and you could only see a few clients at a time and you could not save it into a spreadsheet.

Please implement this asap, to make Tax Advisory a more real useful product.

You sound like someone with ITA experience.  I am a new user, been dabbling, so my mind isn't made up about ITA.

What would you do when ITA gives you that suggestion?  Would you proceed because you are curious and think you could still learn something?

I used a credit because I was curious.

The first suggestion to become an RE professional was a total miss as I had already marked the client as an RE professional in LC.  But good to know that it is at least as smart as I am and knows something about taxes for real estate investors.

One suggestion said there were wages from a partnership K-1 but that was a miss too. No wages are indicated anywhere on this 1040. So I don't know what ITA was seeing.

A suggestion to do an LKE was good but not for the reason it gave.  Edit:  I see now that it has an LKE calculator which could be very useful. (I do LKE's on my spreadsheet but the ITA LKE calculator looks simple. Score one point for Intuit.)

The other nine suggestions are okay. I knew about those ideas already.

This client had no taxable income so maybe I was expecting too much.

Overall, I'm not that impressed but wonder what others think.
