Unable to license ProSeries in Right Networks

This article will help you if you are seeing the error Please see your ProSeries Network administrator to change when launching ProSeries in Right Networks for the first time.

This article references default installation paths and uses YY to reference the tax year in 20YY format.

1. Close ProSeries.
2. Open the File Explorer in Right Networks.
3. Open the H: Drive.
4. Open the ProWinYY folder for the year impacted.
5. Open the 32bit folder.
6. Double click on the ProWinYY.ini in Notepad.
7. Look for the section labeled [Preferences].
8. Change the line that says Admin=0 to Admin=1.
   
9. From the File menu, select Save.
10. Close Notepad and File Explorer.
11. Open ProSeries again.
