Ohio wants to know is it "canned" or "custom" whether it's taxable or not. All the updating couldn't it be argued that Lacerte is custom each season @IntuitAustin ? This sounds like an easy chart for Intuit to develop and provide for their loyal Community. "Are your Intuit products taxable in your state?"

Not a DMS user. But with finicky application I do use, the scanner needs to be powered on prior to starting the document management application. Cannot turn scanner on after the application is up and running. Also I do not use Hosted solution so that's a whole other ball of cornflakes in and of itself potentially. Here are all Help Articles mentioning DMS

Even double-sided I can't believe Organizers fit into a standard window envelope, well done sir! 👏 We overburden even using Condensed Organizer pages. And pages created outside Lacerte - Engagement Letter, IRA Minimum Distribution, and the "Welcome to the Season" letter pleading for, at a minimum, answers to the Miscellaneous Yes or No questions (which have always been/are complete [bleep!]   😠 to customize.) Many seem to use it as a Security Blanket. Half or more don't fill it in. But same will anxiously call if it doesn't hit their mailbox when they believe it should (we aim for early January.) Just pure gold here 🤣 "only take on new clients if they promise to die before I do"-- @George4Tacks

@snootsdad I do not disagree. Intuit has a pathetic addiction to Feature Creep resulting in severe Application Bloat especially Lacerte and QuickBooks in my experience However the "Unexpected Behavior: eFile" in Lacerte was solved at least according to this link posted by @IntuitAustin  https://proconnect.intuit.com/community/lacerte-tax-news-updates/discussion/unexpected-behavior-efile/01/103976/highlight/true#M100

ProSeries 2019 Data Conversion Will Close Oct 19 Intuit will be performing annual maintenance on the Data Conversion Service in preparation for Tax Year 2020 beginning Oct 19. During this time Tax Data Conversion will be unavailable. Oct 18 is the final date to submit tax data for conversion in ProSeries 2019. After this time, 2018 tax files will no longer be processed, and conversion services will resume when we begin accepting 2019 tax files with the release of 2020 ProSeries. Thanks for the advice & suggestions. Irony of ironies the problem City return (RITA for those also suffering as preparer in Ohio) Accepted when submitted stand-alone vs. being sent with the rest of the pack. Oh, RITA you sly boots! Again, @PhoebeRoberts @abctax55 thanks for the speedy replies I very much appreciate it. Edit: holy ⁉️ the e-File Acceptance Letter did print intact! Pick your cliché. No, I don't know what I was thinking. Has anyone Clear Return'd when the client had already been Accepted by both federal and state. And then lived to tell about it? Is it possible for the cleared e-file to be brought back? At a minimum to produce an Acceptance Letter? I found no mention of the Lacerte e-file Support Tools in Community @IntuitAustin (hindsight: maybe that's to keep us from using them without Support on the phone?)  Frustration with city Reject return, plus I don't know = paddling up creek with no oars.

I have never heard a complaint of too large a font. Microsoft Windows 10 settings for Display scale and layout can be found in Start > Settings > System > Display Beware. Just because Microsoft "recommends" a Display setting does NOT mean it will work well with Lacerte or other applications for that matter. Going down the Display Settings rabbit-hole is a slippery slope potentially causing more harm than good Pre Windows 10 there were numerous other options to manipulate appearance of items across Windows. If that still exists hidden in Control Panel or by Registry hack I have yet to find it. Also: Change the size of text in Windows 10
