Form 1095-A

This client shows in her mother Form 1095-A as a covered individual. She is not listed as a dependent in the mother tax return. Do I have to enter the mother's 1095-A information in the daughter personal tax return?

The short answer is yes, anyone covered by a marketplace plan must report this on their tax return.

The longer answer is that this is a situation in which one policy is covering two tax families, and the premium tax credit must be allocated between them.
