Virginia allows for amended returns to be electronically filed; however, ProSeries  does not offer this option.

Who in Virginia wouldn't vote for this if they knew the polls were open?  On behalf of everyone in Virginia, I suggest the vote total be updated to reflect a vote for every tax preparer using ProSeries in Virginia.  In a show of solidarity, I will add my vote since Minnesota has a city named Virginia ---------- city, state, what's the difference ---------- close enough.

I voted for it and I'm not even an Intuit customer.  I've been efiling them in Drake just fine, I'm kinda shocked that ProSeries doesn't already do this.

I asked for this 2 years ago and am still waiting.  Please vote for this!

But, but, but ---------- you didn't vote for it.  It appears that to date, the only two people that have voted for it are two people who aren't going to make use of it.

This is just wrong. Why wouldnt they just allow it. Tax season is over for most and it's only afterwards that we discover an amended return is needed. Why wouldnt they provide this ability. How will I explain to my client that it all has to be done manually., ugghh

I believe there are 19 states that can be e-filed compared to less than a half dozen when it first became available.  So little by little they are expanding that feature.  But for what it is worth, I don't file many amended returns but when I do I have never had any issues with a client wondering why the Minnesota amended return couldn't be e-filed.  If a client gets that bent over shape over that issue, they really aren't a good client to keep around.
