David K. Boatswain, CPA, heads up Boatswain CPA, PLLC in Brooklyn, N.Y. A graduate of Baruch College, David has more than 20 years of tax preparation experience and works with individuals, real estate investors, freelancers/solo entrepreneurs, and small business owners. He spent 12 years honing his accounting and auditing skills in a mid-size CPA firm and the dynamic environment of a Big 4 firm, as well as several years working in private accounting, where he gained valuable experience in many facets of accounting over a variety of industries. David participates in local charity events, including 5k races, is an avid real estate investor, and enjoys traveling with his family.
