I was going to suggest the same.  It would be good if every time the custom status changed there was a date next to it, to be able to track the progress.  So for instance I mark my returns as "Info Received" but I have to track the date received on an excel list, so I know which returns were sitting the longest.  Then if I were to change the status to "Waiting for Client Review" if there was a date change when the status is updated, I would know what date I sent it to the client.  It would be nice to have this at a glance in the tax return listing on ProConnect Tax Online.
