I would like to be able to merge two clients in my system. In my past software, I was able to go in and as long as both had the same SSN, it would allow me to merge them into one file. When I try to enter the client social security number in the second file that was created, it won't even let me do that because it was already used once. I would also very much appreciate if I could separate a MFJ return into two MFS files instead of having to reenter one spouse's information all over again when it proves more beneficial to file separately.
