I needed to file a superseded partnership tax return and it went smoothly for the IRS.  California's would not go through using LACERTE.  The CA FTB accepts e-filed superseded entity returns so it surprised me that LACERTE would not support this.

I would appreciate it if this could be put on LACERTE's to-do list for upgrades to the LACERTE program.

Thank you.

Agree, CA Franchise Tax Board has allowed for efiling superseded returns since January of 2022!  This should have been implemented into Lacerte by now for all return types, especially after 2022's tax year where I imagine many people filed superseded returns with the additional due date from storm related extensions.
