Excellent idea, and it doesn't sound that hard to implement it.  It was submitted 2.5 years ago and should have been implemented 2 years ago.  Come on, Intuit.  Free up a programmer for a few minutes from his/her duties of writing more apps that you want to charge us for, and spiff up your core product with a simple but very helpful change like this.
