We put a man on the moon in 1969 and Proseries still has not figured out how to do this although they have no problem charging us $7,400 a year ( roughly double what competitors I charging ) for unlimited use of their software.

But again I expect nothing less from a company that puts the e-file acceptance status in their e-file center 12 columns to the right of the taxpayers name and ID so it’s off your screen and you have to constantly toggle back-and-forth when you’re trying to check hundreds of filings.  Get get this pleasure for $7400 a year which does not even include the cloud-based solution they just came out with this year.  Like being in a bad marriage with no place to go.

There are many partnerships or LLC's taxed as partnerships that are member's of other LLC's and receive a K-1. Without the ability to import K1's to 1065 returns, how are other members dealing with this? Is everything just being hand-keyed? I have an entity that receives over 20 K-1's each year, so hand-keying is time consuming and the chance of error is increased.

Hand keying.
