On Line 5 of Form 8867, why not just add a drop down list of common supporting documentation that we rely on for the record retention requirement. Examples of what would be included on the drop down list (INSTEAD OF ME HAVING TO TYPE THIS IN EVERY YEAR!!!!):
*Contemporaneous meeting/email/phone call with client to confirm eligibility
*social security card
*IRS Form 1099-Q
*Tax Org Worksheet
*birth certificate
*IRS Form 1098-T
etc.
Why do I have to waste time typing these on each return - just give me a quick drop down list to pick from??!!
