On the 1099-B Worksheet, just below the place where you enter the brokerage house information, etc, there is a section called "Form 8949 Reporting Exceptions Transactions". There you can enter both ST & LT totals from what I assume is from a brokerage 1099 statement. If you do that, and the totals match the 1099 statement, do you still need to attach a pdf file?
