Does anyone know how to add Interest to IT-201X balance? There isn't a line item for it on the return but the instructions say to add it to the balance due line.

I tried to add it in the interest and penalties area but it won't add it to the balance due on the NYS amended return.

There is no line on the IT-201X for this. Tell the client to pay the extra when they make the payment.
