I do not believe they are clueless.  But the way they bring the forms up to date are not conducive to some of us who have different needs then others.  IF NO OTHER SOFTWARE companies had this form into their systems then I would get it.  And no I am not switching software because of this since I feel ProSeries in spite of this issue is still a good software.  So being balanced here I feel we can criticize constructively.
