As for the question being answered,  the follow up questions by the OP suggest that the original poster wasn't satisfied with the answer.   As far as not clicking links, your point is a good one.  But encrypted emails aren't really an option here.   It is fairly straightforward to scan a link before clicking it if one is concerned about the link's safety or validity.  As for the original post being in the wrong forum,  true.  No doubt.   But such responses are unhelpful.  And the whole point of any forum is to be helpful.   I get it, this post was like asking about oil changes in a master mechanic forum,  but the replies didn't meet them where they were.
