What year tax forms do I use for a short tax year ending mid year? Ex: C Corp ended July 1 2021. Short year return due 12/15/21. 2021 tax forms are not out yet?

Im guessing your options are limited to paper filing with the year crossed out on a 2020 return to say 2021...or filing an extension until the 2021 forms are ready.
