I am wondering if anyone else has had a similar situation like this... I wired state return to Pennsylvania approximately 3 weeks ago and it was accepted... Client mailed the payment voucher and the check to Pennsylvania... Pennsylvania sent them a letter which they received today stating that Pa received a payment for 2020 but they cannot "match it up to a return"... Something doesn't sound right but nothing surprises me anymore... Thanks...

The IRS has been sending out funky notices lately, maybe Pennsylvania just wanted to get in on all of the fun.

You might attach the efile acceptance confirmation to the letter and send it back to them. I’d call Tech support first and confirm that intuit shows the PA return was accepted.

They speak a different language in Pennsylvania. ATM's are called MAC's. You don't go to 7-11, you shop at the WaWa.

My hunch is someone opened up the envelope like an intoxicated gorilla and the payment voucher was destroyed or lost.... I don't have time for crap like this...

Maybe PA is behind in processing just like IRS and the payment hit the system before the return worked its way down the pipeline....this all happening within a 3 week period, sure seems quick for a letter to go out.
