We now have a problem with the Virginia state return. Virginia was already subtracting the unemployment from the federal AGI. Now it taking that deduction twice. Help!

I discovered the same issue with California. CA starts with Federal AGI, which will the new UCE exclusion has been reduced, then on CA Adjustment form it is deducting the full amount of Unemployment entered on the Federal return. On the CA Adjustment in the "Other Income" section, entered "USE Excluded on Federal return" and entered the $10,200 as an addition to CA AGI. Not sure what or when Pro Series will correct this.

Yeah, I think many states are either screwed up or require manual entry now.

Is there any updates for NY state unemployment exempt income. Fully taxable or same as Federal?
