Taxpayer full year resident MI, wife part MI part MA. MI requires same filing status federal and state. I want to: 

File MFJ Federal.

MI state  filing for T as MI resident, S as part-year resident.

MA state. Ran a MFS for Spouse to generate MA state. File Spouse state as MFS as part year resident in MA.

Any issues with this approach?
